About Maymont
Our Story
Maymont was born in 2020 in Baranovichi, Belarus, out of love for women and belief in what they deserve to wear. What started with two people and a small garage has grown, in five years, into a studio of 30 dedicated craftspeople. Today, we design, make, and ship every piece to women around the world.
Every collection is still made by hand in our studio in Baranovichi. That's not a marketing detail, it's how we keep quality and authenticity in every seam. From everyday essentials to statement pieces, each garment is built the same way: with effortless style, warmth, and room for the woman wearing it to still feel like herself.
Over the years, Maymont has grown beyond Belarus - taking part in New York Fashion Week, and opening its first boutique in Greenville, South Carolina. With every step forward, the story continues: European craftsmanship, carried to women wherever they are.
At the heart of Maymont is our team. We are more than colleagues - we are a family, supporting, inspiring, and caring for each other. That's why our clothing is not just clothing. It's about freedom, authenticity, and being real.
The Founder
My name is Katerina Vashchilko, and I founded Maymont in 2020. Before that I worked as a practicing international lawyer and earned a Master’s degree in law. But at some point, I realized I wanted to speak to the world not through legal texts — but through beauty.
I didn’t leave law behind — I carried the best of it with me. Structure, responsibility, and the drive to bring every idea to life. These values became the foundation of my brand. But most importantly, I started designing clothes for myself. The kind of pieces I wanted to wear every day. That’s why each garment reflects my honesty, my taste, and my rhythm of life.
Maymont became the first Belarusian brand to show at New York Fashion Week. And today, I’m proud to have opened the first Maymont store in the U.S. It’s the result of dedication and vision. But in truth — my brand has given me more than I ever imagined. It gave me a path, a purpose, and a new sense of home.
