I want to tell you something I don't usually say out loud.
There have been moments (more than a few) where I wasn't sure Maymont was going to make it. Where the doubt was louder than the vision. Where I looked at everything I'd built and wondered if I'd made a mistake.
Nobody tells you that part when you start a brand. They show you the launch photos and the press features and the beautiful flat lays. They don't show you the middle — the part where you're doing everything right and it still feels like you're pushing against a wall that doesn't move.
Building something from nothing is hard. Building a fashion brand from nothing — without a legacy, without a big budget, without the right connections handed to you — is a different kind of hard. It asks things of you that you didn't know you had to give.
I've had to make something out of less than I thought was possible. I've had to believe in a collection before anyone else did. I've had to show up for this brand when showing up felt like the hardest thing in the world.
And I'm still here.
Maymont is still here.
Not because everything went perfectly. Not because I figured it all out. But because I refused to let the hard parts be the end of the story.

This season feels different. We're growing in ways I'm proud of, and there's something coming soon I can't wait to share with you. It's taken longer than I wanted. It's cost more than I planned. And it has been worth every single moment of it.
